Here is the Question: Can someone explain the scam where girls from Ghana send letters and photos looking to start a relationship?
I have received multiple letters and photos from attractive young women in Ghana looking to begin a relationship and describing their attributes. I have not responded, but am curious about the source of this scam and how i can get off the list.

Here is the Question: If someone posts a negative and damaging review of your business on google that is not true can I sue?
My business is listed on google and there is a place to leave a review for my services. Someone posted a really nasty and totally fabricated review. The scenario never happened and I think they did it to hurt my business. What recourse do I have? Can I go to a district attorney or someplace and sue them for defamation of character? I happened upon the review by accident and it was posted July 29, 2009. My business has been slower than usual this summer. Can I sue for loss of business?

Someone tried to scam my mother this morning into giving them her credit card number. My mother was smart enough to not do such, but the scammer was stupid enough to call from her home phone. Sooo..I have the idiots phone number and address. Yes, I have alterted the police, but they can’t do anything unless a crime has been perpetrated.

Here is the Question: What is this scam – to recieve “business materials”, keep them in a safe place and have someone pick them up?
I’m pretty sure these are scams. But what is the scam? They say they want to send stuff to you then have you hold onto it untill they send someone else to pick the items up? Another variation i have seen its to receive the items, recieve lump sums of money and use the money to mail out the items. What is this? What are they trying to pull? Are they stolen or illegal goods?

Here is the Question: What if someone stole my stuff at the pool?
I dont know why people usually trust people with personal belongings whether it is a swim bag, clothes, sunglasses, cell phone, and wallet because people may steal my stuff. I witnessed one time someone going in my bag and trying to steal something and I was like: “HEY!!!” And they just left and walked away like a coward.

So my question is why do people take things that dont belong to them? And what would you do if someone stole your stuff at the pool? Why do people trust other people with personal belongings anyway to leave on their towel?

He wants to speak to another person that he does not know, a very rare element, which is worth about $ 200.
