Here is the Question: Are there any publishers willing to review an unfinished manuscript?
I have written a blog story, but the first few chapters are by far the best.I was wondering if there are any publishers willing to just review the first three or so chapters? Thanks.

To be honest, most of them aren’t even willing to accept a finished manuscript. Things are so grim in the publishing world at the moment apparently only 10 in every 5000 books submitted (in the UK) get published. But one of them could be you, so don’t give up! Good luck.
1. If the first few chapters are the best, that means the story gets worse as it goes on. That’s a sure recipe for disappointed readers, and disappointed readers won’t bother with your next book. Rewrite the later chapters so that they’re even better than the first few.
2. Major publishers will no longer look at unsolicited manuscripts unless the author is represented by an agent.
3. Publishers are not in the business of reviewing manuscripts, finished or unfinished. They’re in the business of publishing books that they think will make money for them. That means they’ll only consider books that are ready to be published, or very nearly so. (See point 2.)
4. If your story is good enough to be published, but not yet finished, don’t expect a publisher to wait for you to finish it. They have many other finished manuscripts competing for their attention. (See point 3.)
5. Agents are not in the business of reviewing manuscripts either. They will not provide any comments on your book unless they want to represent you.
6. Therefore, you need some other source of feedback for your book. People who comment on your blog (assuming you allow comments) are not useful for this purpose.
7. I recommend joining a critique group. You have to comment on other people’s work, but it’s a price worth paying to get helpful and (relatively) objective criticism. I should’ve just said that to start with, but now you know why I recommend it.

All the naysayers of this film need to go back and read (or re-read) the original stories. If you did, you would stop complaining about this film’s lack of reverence or respect to the characters and the world and realize that this film gets more correct than incorrect in dealing with the SHERLOCK HOLMES mythos…
